Acer unveiled a series of new products at the IFA event. A portable gaming console, tablet and laptop were introduced at the event, which was a first for the company. Here is the Acer Swift Go 14 AI laptop that took the stage.
Acer Swift Go 14 AI is the first laptop with Snapdragon X Plus
Qualcomm today added a more affordable processor to its Snapdragon X processor lineup for Windows PCs. The Acer Swift Go 14 AI is the first model to use the Snapdragon X Plus. As the name suggests, the device features Acer AI with artificial intelligence support.
When we look at the specifications of the Acer model, we see that it has a 14.5-inch WQXGA IPS display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. 32 GB LPDDR5X RAM capacity is accompanied by up to 1 TB NVMe PCIe Gen 4 SSD. There’s also a 1440p webcam with privacy cover.
The most striking feature of the Acer model was the charging time. The device offers up to 28 hours of battery life on a single charge. When we look at the connectivity side, it offers two USB 4.0 Type-C, two full-size USB Type-A ports, as well as Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 support for wireless connectivity.
On the AI side, the device includes a Copilot button and tools like Cocreator, Live Captions and Windows Studio Effects. There are also features like the AcerSense utility for quick access and its own AI toolkit, such as AI-powered tools.
